Writhe in agony, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the Lord will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.

People of Zion, groan with pain. Cry out like a woman having a baby. Soon you must leave your city. You must camp in the open fields. You will have to go to the land of Babylon. But that’s where the Lord will save you. There he will set you free from the power of your enemies.

Writhe and groan, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you shall go out from the city and dwell in the open country; you shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued; there the Lord will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

耶路撒冷的废墟啊！你们要发声，一同欢呼。因为耶和华安慰了他的子民，救赎了耶路撒冷。耶和华在万国的眼前，显露他的圣臂，地极的人必看见我们神的拯救。你们要离开，要离开，要从那里出来，不要触摸不洁净的东西。扛抬耶和华器皿的啊！你们要从巴比伦城中出来，要自洁。你们出来，不必着急；你们行走，也不必奔逃，因为耶和华要走在你们前面，以色列的神必作你们的后盾。

“因此，我要诱导她，领她到旷野，对她说安慰的话。

生产的疼痛要临到他身上，他却是没有智慧的人，因为产期到了，他还迟延不破胎而出。

我凭着公义兴起了古列，我必修平他的一切道路；他必建造我的城，释放我被掳的子民，不必用工价，也不用赏赐，这是万军之耶和华说的。”

我实实在在告诉你们，你们要痛哭哀号，世人却要欢喜；你们要忧愁，但你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。妇人生产的时候会有忧愁，因为她的时候到了；但生了孩子以后，就不再记住那痛苦了，因为欢喜有一个人生到世上来。现在你们也有忧愁；但我要再见你们，你们的心就会喜乐，你们的喜乐是没有人能够夺去的。

于是有大鹰的两个翅膀赐给了那妇人，使她可以飞到旷野，到自己的地方，在那里得供养一年两年半年，离开那蛇的面。

因此耶和华领亚述王的将帅来攻打他们，用钩子钩着玛拿西，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

城终于被攻破了，所有的战士就在夜间从靠近王的花园的两墙中间的那门，逃跑出城。那时迦勒底人在四围攻城；他们就往亚拉巴的方向逃走。

锡安没有绞痛就生产；疼痛没有临到她身上，就生了一个男孩。像以下这样的事，谁曾听过呢？像下面这些事，谁曾见过呢？一地之民能在一天之内就产生吗？一国的人能在一时之间就生下来吗？但锡安一绞痛，就生下了儿女。耶和华说：‘我既然使她临盆，又怎能不使她生产呢？’你的神说：‘我既然使她生产，又怎能使她闭胎不生呢？’

“我必搭救你脱离恶人的手，救赎你脱离强暴人的掌握（“掌握”原文作“手掌”）。”

耶和华说：“嗨！与巴比伦的居民同住的锡安的人民哪！逃跑吧！”万军之耶和华这样说，得了荣耀之后，他差遣我去攻击那些劫掠你们的列国，因为凡触摸你们的，就是触摸他眼中的瞳人。看哪！我要向他们挥动我的手，他们就必成了自己奴仆的掠物。这样，你们就知道万军之耶和华差遣了我。

波斯王古列元年，耶和华为要应验他藉耶利米的口所说的话，就激动波斯王古列的心灵，使他通令全国，传达文告说：“波斯王古列这样说：‘耶和华天上的神已经把地上万国赐给我。他指派我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。

“然而，以色列人的数目，必多如海边的沙，量不尽，数不完。从前在什么地方对他们说：‘你们不是我的子民’，将来要在那里对他们说：‘你们是永活的神的儿子。’

我的仇敌啊！不要因我的遭遇而高兴；我虽然跌倒了，却必起来；我虽然坐在黑暗里，耶和华却必作我的光。我要担当耶和华的忿怒，因为我得罪了他，直到他审断我的案件，为我主持公道；他必把我领出来，到光明中去，我就得见他的公义。我的仇敌看见了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾经对我说：“耶和华你的神在哪里”的人，我必亲眼看见他遭报；那时，他必被人践踏，好像街上的泥土。必有一天，你要重建你的城墙；到那日，你的地界必扩展到远方。那日，必有人来归你，从亚述到埃及，从埃及到大河，从这海到那海，从这山到那山，必有人来归你。然而，大地因其中居民的缘故，又因他们行为的恶果，必一片荒凉。

脱离刀剑的人，迦勒底王都把他们掳到巴比伦去，作他和他的子孙的奴仆，直到波斯国兴起的时候。

他拯救他们脱离憎恨他们的人的手，从仇敌的手中救赎了他们。
