所以，我要為西比瑪的葡萄樹哀哭，像雅謝人一樣哀哭。希實本、以利亞利啊，我要以眼淚澆灌你，你因夏天果子和收割的莊稼，歡呼聲已經止息了。

我要為山嶺哭泣悲哀，為曠野的草場揚聲哀號；因為都已枯焦，甚至無人經過。牲畜的鳴叫聽不見，空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸也都逃離。

曠野的走獸躺臥在那裏，咆哮的動物擠滿棲身之所；鴕鳥住在那裏，山羊鬼魔也在那裏跳舞。

因此，我的心為摩押哀鳴如簫，我的心為吉珥‧哈列設人哀哭；摩押人所得的財物都毀滅了。各人頭上光禿，鬍鬚剪短，手有劃傷，腰束麻布。在摩押的各房頂上和街市上到處有人哀哭，因我打碎摩押，好像打碎無人喜愛的器皿。這是耶和華說的。打得粉碎了！他們要哀號了！摩押要羞愧轉背了！這樣，摩押必受四圍的人嗤笑驚駭。

我如同曠野的鵜鶘，好像荒地的貓頭鷹。
