其中雕刻之像、俱必見碎、所得之贈物、贈物或作財寶必焚於火、其諸偶像、我必毀之、其諸偶像我必毀之或作其偶像處我必使荒蕪彼所積之珍寶、如妓所得之贈物、後將仍以之贈妓、

妓女所得的酬金，或男妓所得的代價，你不可帶入耶和華你的神的殿裡還任何的願，因為這兩樣都是耶和華你的神厭惡的。

我必毀壞她的葡萄樹和無花果樹，就是她曾說：‘這是我作妓女所賺的，是我那些愛人給我的。’我必使這些果樹成為荒林，任由田野的走獸吃掉。

這牛犢是出於以色列，是匠人所做的，它並不是神，撒瑪利亞的牛犢必被粉碎。

因為各國都喝她淫亂烈怒的酒醉了；地上的君王與她行淫，世上的商人因她奢華揮霍就發了財。”

撒瑪利亞的居民必因伯．亞文的牛犢而懼怕；拜牛犢的人民必為它哀慟。拜牛犢的祭司必為它哀號，都因它的榮耀離開它而被擄去了。人要把它帶到亞述去，作貢物獻給那裡的大王。以法蓮必受羞辱，以色列必因自己的計謀蒙羞。

我們口中說過的一切話，我們一定去作，我們要向天后燒香，澆奠祭，好像我們自己和我們的列祖，以及我們的君王和領袖，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一樣。那時我們吃得飽，得享福樂，不見災禍。但是，自從我們停止向天后燒香和澆奠祭以後，我們就樣樣都缺乏，又因刀劍和饑荒滅亡。”

因為他們的母親賣了淫，懷他們的作了羞恥的事；因為她曾說：‘我要跟隨我那些愛人。我的餅和水，羊毛和麻布，油和我所喝的，都是他們給的。’

他又在瑪拿西、以法蓮、西緬，以至拿弗他利的各城，以及它們周圍荒廢的地方，都這樣行。他拆毀了祭壇，把亞舍拉和雕刻的偶像打碎，破碎了以色列全地所有的香壇，就回耶路撒冷去了。

就是金、銀、寶石、珍珠；細麻布、紫色布、絲綢、朱紅色布；各樣香木，各樣象牙製品，各樣極貴重的木器、銅器、鐵器、大理石製品；肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香；酒、油、麵粉、麥子；牛、羊、馬、車、奴僕、人口。

他們為我的子民抽籤，用男童交換妓女，女童被賣換酒喝。

藉此，雅各的罪孽才得赦免；他的罪過得以除掉的條件全都在於此，就是他叫祭壇上所有的石頭都變為破碎的灰石，使亞舍拉和香壇不再豎立。

我把你們的罪，就是你們鑄造的牛犢，拿去用火燒了，又把它搗碎，磨成細粉，像灰塵一樣；我把這灰塵撒在從山上流下來的溪水中。

他又打碎神柱，砍下亞舍拉，把死人的骨頭布滿那個地方。此外，甚至在伯特利的祭壇和那使以色列人陷於罪中的尼八的兒子耶羅波安所做的邱壇，他都拆毀焚燒，壓碎成灰，又把亞舍拉燒了。

我必毀壞你們的邱壇，砍倒你們的香壇，把你們的屍體扔在你們仆倒的偶像上面；我的心必厭棄你們。

“地上的眾王，就是跟她一同行邪淫、驕奢無度的，看見焚燒她的煙的時候，就必為她痛哭捶胸。

這一切都作完了，所有在那裡的以色列人就都出去，到猶大的各城，打碎神柱，砍下亞舍拉；又在猶大、便雅憫、以法蓮和瑪拿西各地，把邱壇和祭壇完全拆毀。然後以色列眾人都各回各城，各歸自己的地業去了。
