Shave your head in mourning for the children in whom you delight; make yourself as bald as the vulture, for they will go from you into exile.

The children you enjoy so much will be taken away as prisoners. So shave your heads and mourn. Make them as bare as the head of a vulture.

那日，万军之耶和华呼召你们哭泣哀号，剃光头发，身披麻衣。

约伯站起来，撕裂外袍，剃掉头发，俯伏在地上敬拜，

“‘你们要剪掉头发，在光秃的山上哀哭，因为耶和华已弃绝这惹祂发怒的百姓。’”

何细亚执政第九年，撒玛利亚沦陷。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述，安置在哈腊、歌散的哈博河一带以及玛代人的各城。

因为被敌人困在城中，饥饿难熬，连你们中间最温柔、娇嫩得连脚也不肯踏在地上的妇女，都要偷偷吃掉自己生的婴儿和胎胞，不肯分给所爱的丈夫和子女。

‘终有一天，你王宫中的一切和你祖先积攒到现在的一切，必一件不留地被掳到巴比伦。这是耶和华说的。你的子孙当中必有人被掳去，在巴比伦王的宫中做太监。’”

耶和华又说：“锡安的女子狂傲，昂首走路，卖弄媚眼，俏步徐行，脚镯叮当。所以，我要使她们头上长疮，露出头皮。”到那日，主必拿去她们美丽的脚镯、发饰、项链、耳环、手镯、面纱、头饰、脚链、彩带、香盒、护身符、戒指、鼻环、礼服、外袍、披肩、钱包、镜子、内衣、头巾和围巾。她们的香气将变成臭味，腰带将变成绳子，美发将变成秃头，华服将变成麻衣，美丽的容颜将布满羞辱的烙印。城中的男子将丧身刀下，勇士将战死沙场。锡安的城门必悲伤、哀哭，锡安必空空地坐在地上。

我要使你们的节期变为丧礼，叫你们的欢歌变为哀歌。我要使你们都腰束麻布，剃光头发；我要使你们伤心欲绝，如丧独生子；我要使那日成为痛苦的日子。”

底本城的人上到神庙，到他们的丘坛痛哭。摩押人都剃光头发，刮掉胡须，为尼波和米底巴城哀号。

“你们生儿育女，却留不住一个，因为他们必被掳走。

百姓啊，你们要身披麻布，在灰中打滚；你们要悲伤痛哭，如丧独子，因为毁灭者将突然临到我们。

昔日锦衣玉食、生活奢侈的，如今却流落街头，躺卧在粪堆中。虽然无人攻击，所多玛却在顷刻之间倾覆。我子民比所多玛受到的惩罚更重。锡安的首领曾比雪纯净，比奶更白，身体比红宝石更红润，相貌美如蓝宝石。现在，他们的面目比煤炭还黑，走在街上无人认得。他们骨瘦如柴，干如枯木。

他们无论尊卑都要死在这里，无人埋葬，无人哀悼，也无人为他们的死而割伤身体、剃光头发。
