Jesus* said to him,“ Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.”Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk. Now it was a Sabbath on that day.So the Jews were saying to the man who was cured,“ It is a Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.”But he answered them,“ He who made me well was the one who said to me,‘ Pick up your pallet and walk.’”They asked him,“ Who is the man who said to you,‘ Pick it up and walk’?”But the man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away while there was a crowd in that place.Afterward, Jesus* found him in the temple and said to him,“ Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”

Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man,‘ Your sins are forgiven’; or to say,‘ Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— He* said to the paralyzed man,“ I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet, and go home.”And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”

And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

Which is easier, to say:‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the man who was paralyzed,“ I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher, and go home.”And immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.

But Peter said,“ I do not have silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!”And grasping him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.And leaping up, he stood and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.And all the people saw him walking and praising God;and they recognized him as being the very one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg for charitable gifts, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the portico named Solomon’s, completely astonished.

Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened, And the ears of those who are deaf will be unstopped.Then those who limp will leap like a deer, And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.

In Lystra a man was sitting whose feet were incapacitated. He had been disabled from his mother’s womb, and had never walked.This man was listening to Paul as he spoke. Paul looked at him intently and saw that he had faith to be made well,and he said with a loud voice,“ Stand upright on your feet!” And the man leaped up and began to walk.When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language,“ The gods have become like men and have come down to us!”

Peter said to him,“ Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your own bed.” Immediately he got up.

But He answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well,let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead— by this name this man stands here before you in good health.
