Then the remnant left in Israel will take their place among the nations. They will be like dew sent by the Lord or like rain falling on the grass, which no one can hold back and no one can restrain.

Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who have the gift of leadership, those who speak in unknown languages.

Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.

The Lord gives the word, and a great army brings the good news.

Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness.Here are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon( also called Peter), then Andrew( Peter’s brother), James( son of Zebedee), John( James’s brother),Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew( the tax collector), James( son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus,

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.At daybreak he called together all of his disciples and chose twelve of them to be apostles. Here are their names:
