耶稣走遍加利利，在各个会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治人们各样的疾病。祂的名声传遍了整个叙利亚。人们把一切患病的，就是患各种疾病的、疼痛的、癫痫的、瘫痪的，以及被鬼附身的都带到祂面前，祂都医治了他们。

但耶稣对他们说：“我必须把上帝国的福音传到其他的城镇去，因为我是为此而被差来的。”于是耶稣继续在加利利各会堂里传道。

耶稣继续前往耶路撒冷，沿途在各城镇教导人。

“各位以色列人啊，请留心听。上帝借着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间行了异能、奇事和神迹，以证明拿撒勒人耶稣是祂派来的。这是你们都知道的。

你们也知道，拿撒勒人耶稣是上帝用圣灵和大能膏立的。祂周游四方，广行善事，医好被魔鬼压制的人，因为上帝与祂同在。

耶稣嘱咐完十二个门徒，就离开那里，到附近的城镇传道和教导人。

就是瞎子看见，瘸子走路，麻风病人得洁净，聋子听见，死人复活，穷人听到福音。

他们的不信令耶稣诧异，于是祂就去周围的村庄教导人。

日落之后，有人把病人和被鬼附身的人都带来见耶稣。全城的人都聚在门前。耶稣医好了许多患各种疾病的人，又赶出很多鬼。祂不准鬼说话，因为鬼认识祂。第二天清早，天还没亮，耶稣就起来独自走到旷野去祷告。西门和同伴们四处寻找耶稣，找到了，便对祂说：“大家都在找你呢！”耶稣却回答说：“我们到附近的乡镇去吧，我也好在那里传道，因为我就是为这事来的。”于是，耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂传道，赶鬼。

耶稣不论到哪一个城市、乡镇和村庄，人们总是把病人抬到街市上，求耶稣让他们摸一摸祂衣裳的穗边，所有摸过的病人都好了。
