While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said,“ My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.”

While Jesus was saying this, a synagogue leader came. He got down on his knees in front of Jesus. He said,“ My daughter has just died. But come and place your hand on her. Then she will live again.”

While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying,“ My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him.“ My daughter has just died,” he said,“ but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.”

As he was telling them these things, suddenly one of the leaders came and knelt down before him, saying,“ My daughter just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

While He was saying these things to them, behold, a synagogue official came and bowed down before Him, and said,“ My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will become alive again.”

While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying,“ My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.”

And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,Came behind[ him], and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press[ thee], and sayest thou, Who touched me?And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s[ house], saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.But when Jesus heard[ it], he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death:[ I pray thee], come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.And[ Jesus] went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in[ her] body that she was healed of that plague.And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s[ house certain] which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was[ of the age] of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a[ certain] man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,And fell down on[ his] face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped[ him].But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this[ man], Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth[ it].

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping[ him], and desiring a certain thing of him.

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.

And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying,[ Ye] men[ and] brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give[ it] thee.

Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
