耶穌對曰：『新壻之友、方伴新壻、詎能哀泣？他日新壻被刼而去、斯彼齋戒時矣。

Jesus answered,“ How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.

And Jesus said to them,“ Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Jesus replied,“ Do wedding guests mourn while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Jesus said to them,“ Can the wedding guests be sad while the groom is with them? The time will come when the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

And Jesus said to them,“ The attendants of the groom cannot mourn as long as the groom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the groom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

And Jesus said to them,“ Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast.

Jesus said to them,“ Can the wedding guests be sad while the groom is with them? The time will come when the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

Jesus said to them,“ The wedding guests cannot mourn while the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days are coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they will fast.

Jesus said to them,“ Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.

迎娶新娘的是新郎。新郎的朋友站在那里，听到新郎的声音，就欢喜快乐。这样，我这喜乐得以满足了。

随后，那位天使对我说：“你当写下：那些被邀请赴羔羊婚宴的人是蒙福的！”他又对我说：“这些都是神真实的话语。”

我也看见圣城新耶路撒冷，从神那里、从天上降下来，已经被预备好了，就像为自己的丈夫装饰整齐的新娘那样。

“我确确实实地告诉你们：你们将会痛哭、哀号，这世界反而会喜乐；你们将会忧伤，然而你们的忧伤要变成喜乐。妇人生产的时候会有忧虑，因为她的时候到了；但是生了孩子以后，她就因着有人出生到世上的喜乐，而不再记住那痛苦了。这样，你们现在虽然也有忧虑，但是我会再见到你们，你们心里将喜乐，并且没有人能夺去你们的喜乐。

在安提阿当地的教会中有一些做先知传道的和教师，包括巴拿巴、称为尼格尔的西蒙、古利奈人卢吉斯、与分封王希律一起长大的马纳恩，还有扫罗。他们在服事主、禁食的时候，圣灵说：“来，你们把巴拿巴和扫罗为我分别出来，去做我所召唤他们做的工作！”于是他们禁食、祷告，按手在巴拿巴和扫罗身上，就送他们走了。

保罗和巴拿巴在各教会为他们选出了长老，祷告和禁食以后，把他们交托给他们所信靠的主。

到那日，主万军之耶和华呼吁你们哭泣哀号、剃光头发、束上麻布。

正好在同一天，门徒中有两个人往一个村子去；这村子名叫以马忤斯，离耶路撒冷约有十一公里。他们彼此谈论着所发生的这一切事。在他们交谈讨论的时候，耶稣亲自走近他们，与他们同行，但是他们的眼睛被遮蔽了，认不出他来。耶稣问他们：“你们一路上彼此谈论的这些，到底是什么事呢？”他们就停住，面带愁容。其中一个名叫克利奥帕的回答耶稣，说：“你在耶路撒冷作客，难道只有你还不知道这几天在那里所发生的事吗？”耶稣问他们：“什么事呢？”他们对他说：“就是有关拿撒勒人耶稣的事。这个人是一位先知，在神和全体民众面前说话行事都有能力。我们的祭司长们和首领们竟把他交出去，判了死罪，钉上十字架。不过我们一直希望他就是要救赎以色列的那一位。不但如此，从这些事发生到今天，已经是第三天了。

“那时，天国好比十个童女，拿着她们的灯出去迎接新郎。她们当中有五个是愚拙的，五个是聪明的。那些愚拙的童女带着她们的灯，却没有带油；而那些聪明的带着瓶子里的油，以及自己的灯。后来新郎迟延不到，她们都打盹，睡着了。“半夜里，有人喧嚷：‘看哪，是新郎！你们出来迎接他！’“十个童女都醒过来，修整她们的灯。愚拙的对聪明的说：‘请把你们的油分一点给我们，因为我们的灯要灭了。’“但那些聪明的回答说：‘不行，绝不够我们和你们用的。你们还是到卖油的那里去，为自己买吧。’“可是她们去买的时候，新郎就来了。那些预备好了的，与新郎一同进去赴婚宴，门就关上了。

夫妻同房不可拒绝对方，除非为了有一段时间专心祷告；然后仍要在一起，免得撒旦趁着你们不能自制而试探你们。

她身穿绣花的彩衣，被领到王那里；她后面陪伴着的童女们也被带到你那里。她们在欢喜和快乐中被引领，进入王的宫殿。

只因为我对你们说了这些话，你们心里就充满了忧伤。

说了这些话，耶稣就在他们的注视中被接升天，有一朵云彩把他接去，他们就看不见他了。正当耶稣离去，他们注目望天的时候，忽然有两个身穿白衣的人站在他们旁边，

我辛苦劳碌，经常失眠，又饥又渴，经常缺食，遭受寒冷，衣不蔽体。
