On hearing this, Jesus said,“ It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

But when he heard it, he said,“ Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

When Jesus heard this, he said,“ Healthy people don’t need a doctor— sick people do.”

Because you say,“ I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked,I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see.

Behold, I am going to bring to it healing and a remedy, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.

But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and He welcomed them and began speaking to them about the kingdom of God, and curing those who had need of healing.

And hearing this, Jesus* said to them,“ It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.

For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord,‘ Because they have called you an outcast, saying:“ It is Zion; no one cares for her.” ’

I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin came to life, and I died;and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;for sin, taking an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it, killed me.So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.Therefore did that which is good become a cause of death for me? Far from it! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by bringing about my death through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold into bondage to sin.For I do not understand what I am doing; for I am not practicing what I want to do, but I do the very thing I hate.However, if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, that the Law is good.But now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not.For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.But if I do the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good.For I joyfully agree with the law of God in the inner person,but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body’s parts.Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

As for me, I said,“ Lord, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.”

Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am frail; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are horrified.

I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, Because My anger has turned away from them.

The Pharisee stood and began praying this in regard to himself:‘ God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, crooked, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

And a woman who had suffered a chronic flow of blood for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone,
