For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one,‘ Go’ and he goes, and to another‘ Come’ and he comes, and to my slave‘ Do this’ and he does it.”

因为我在人的权下，也有兵在我以下；对这个说‘去！’他就去；对那个说‘来！’他就来；对我的仆人说：‘你做这事！’他就去做。”

因为我有上司，也有部下。我命令我的部下去，他就去；要他来，他就来。我吩咐仆人做什么事，他一定照办。”

我自己是在别人的权下，也有兵在我以下；我对这个说‘去！’他就去，对另一个说‘来！’他就来；对仆人说‘作这个！’他就作。”

事实上，我也在人的权下，也有士兵在我之下。我对这个说‘去’，他就去；对那个说‘来’，他就来；对我的奴仆说‘做这事’，他就去做。”

事實上，我也在人的權下，也有士兵在我之下。我對這個說『去』，他就去；對那個說『來』，他就來；對我的奴僕說『做這事』，他就去做。」

蓋我隸人權、有士卒隸我權、令此往則往、來則來、令僕行是則行是、

蓋我權屬人、兵權屬我、命去則去、命來則來、令僕行是、即行是、

蓋我屬人轄、亦有兵屬我轄、命此去則去、命彼來則來、令我僕行是則行是、

蓋予屬人權下、己亦帶有兵卒；命此去則去、召彼來則來、所諭於僕、罔有不從。』

For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I myself am a man under authority. And I have soldiers who obey my orders. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes. I tell that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my slave,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say,‘ Go,’ and they go, or‘ Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves,‘ Do this,’ they do it.”

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this[ man], Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth[ it].

For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and tell another,‘ Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching– like those who are strictly people- pleasers– but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord.

Slaves are to be subject to their own masters in everything, to do what is wanted and not talk back,

“ Or suppose I were to bring a sword against that land and say,‘ Let a sword pass through the land,’ and I were to kill both people and animals.Even if these three men were in it, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, they could not save their own sons or daughters– they would save only their own lives.“ Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out my rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals.Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, they could not save their own son or daughter; they would save only their own lives by their righteousness.“ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send my four terrible judgments– sword, famine, wild animals, and plague– to Jerusalem to kill both people and animals!

So he stood over her, commanded the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.

So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“ Be quiet! Calm down!” Then the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.And he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly? Do you still not have faith?”They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another,“ Who then is this? Even the wind and sea obey him!”

O fire and hail, snow and clouds, O stormy wind that carries out his orders,

Can you raise your voice to the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?Can you send out lightning bolts, and they go? Will they say to you,‘ Here we are’?

Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ,not like those who do their work only when someone is watching– as people- pleasers– but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.

He gave the order for a windstorm, and it stirred up the waves of the sea.They reached up to the sky, then dropped into the depths. The sailors’ strength left them because the danger was so great.They swayed and staggered like a drunk, and all their skill proved ineffective.They cried out to the LORD in their distress; he delivered them from their troubles.He calmed the storm, and the waves grew silent.

For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes, and to my slave,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

But Jesus rebuked him:“ Silence! Come out of him!” Then, after the demon threw the man down in their midst, he came out of him without hurting him.They were all amazed and began to say to one another,“ What’s happening here? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Today they stand firm by your decrees, for all things are your servants.

How long will you cry out,‘ Oh, sword of the LORD, how long will it be before you stop killing? Go back into your sheath! Stay there and rest!’But how can it rest when I, the LORD, have given it orders? I have ordered it to attack the people of Ashkelon and the seacoast.
