“ Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.”

『主、吾僕癱痿。偃臥家中、苦甚。』

“ Lord,” he said,“ my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

“ Lord, my young servant lies in bed, paralyzed and in terrible pain.”

and saying, Lord, my servant lieth in the house sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

“ Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible agony!”

and saying,“ Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

Masters, treat your bondservants justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having seizures, and paralytics, and he healed them.

no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother— especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Who can forgive sins but God alone?”And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them,“ Why do you question these things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the paralytic,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Rise, take up your bed and walk’?But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he said to the paralytic—“ I say to you, rise, pick up your bed, and go home.”And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying,“ We never saw anything like this!”

When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who attended him,

“ If I have rejected the cause of my manservant or my maidservant, when they brought a complaint against me,what then shall I do when God rises up? When he makes inquiry, what shall I answer him?

There he found a man named Aeneas, bedridden for eight years, who was paralyzed.

Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things.

And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”

Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.
