so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He Himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:“ He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

This happened so that what Isaiah the prophet had said would come true. He had said,“ He suffered the things we should have suffered. He took on himself the sicknesses that should have been ours.”( Isaiah 53:4)

This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:“ He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said,“ He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”

so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.

This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled:“ He Himself took our illnesses and carried away our diseases.”

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:“ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled:“ He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.”

Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains; but we in turn regarded Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness; you have been healed by His wounds.

Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:

He stayed there until Herod’s death, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled: Out of Egypt I called My Son.

Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that He will be called a Nazarene.
