For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord gives grace and glory; He does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity.Happy is the person who trusts in You, Lord of Hosts!

Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,listening closely to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding;furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrityso that He may guard the paths of justice and protect the way of His loyal followers.Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and integrity— every good path.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned or his children begging for bread.

Hezekiah did this throughout all Judah. He did what was good and upright and true before the Lord his God.He was diligent in every deed that he began in the service of God’s temple, in the instruction and the commands, in order to seek his God, and he prospered.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

for the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Why?” This is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.“ Because My house still lies in ruins, while each of you is busy with his own house.So on your account, the skies have withheld the dew and the land its crops.I have summoned a drought on the fields and the hills, on the grain, new wine, olive oil, and whatever the ground yields, on man and beast, and on all that your hands produce.”

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him:“ Ask. What should I give you?”And Solomon said to God:“ You have shown great and faithful love to my father David, and You have made me king in his place.Lord God, let Your promise to my father David now come true. For You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth.Now grant me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead these people, for who can judge this great people of Yours?”God said to Solomon,“ Since this was in your heart, and you have not requested riches, wealth, or glory, or for the life of those who hate you, and you have not even requested long life, but you have requested for yourself wisdom and knowledge that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king,wisdom and knowledge are given to you. I will also give you riches, wealth, and glory, unlike what was given to the kings who were before you, or will be given to those after you.”

It will be said to Me: Righteousness and strength is only in the Lord.” All who are enraged against Him will come to Him and be put to shame.

If you wonder:‘ What will we eat in the seventh year if we don’t sow or gather our produce?’I will appoint My blessing for you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years.

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: Yahweh Our Righteousness.

Both were righteous in God’s sight, living without blame according to all the commands and requirements of the Lord.

Simeon Peter, a slave and an apostle of Jesus Christ: To those who have obtained a faith of equal privilege with ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet produced. But from this day on I will bless you.”
