故毋事憂慮、曰吾將何食何飲何以敝體。

So do not worry, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’

So don’t worry. Don’t say,‘ What will we eat?’ Or,‘ What will we drink?’ Or,‘ What will we wear?’

Therefore do not be anxious, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’

So don’t worry, saying,‘ What will we eat?’ or‘ What will we drink?’ or‘ What will we wear?’

Do not worry then, saying,‘ What are we to eat?’ or‘ What are we to drink?’ or‘ What are we to wear for clothing?’

“ Therefore do not worry, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’

Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

So don’t worry, saying,‘ What will we eat?’ or‘ What will we drink?’ or‘ What will we wear?’

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

So then, don’t worry saying,‘ What will we eat?’ or‘ What will we drink?’ or‘ What will we wear?’

“ Therefore don’t be anxious, saying,‘ What will we eat?’,‘ What will we drink?’ or,‘ With what will we be clothed?’

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

“ And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things.

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

The disciples replied,“ Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?”

Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.

But Jesus told him,“ No! The Scriptures say,‘ People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Amaziah asked the man of God,“ But what about all that silver I paid to hire the army of Israel?” The man of God replied,“ The Lord is able to give you much more than this!”

They stubbornly tested God in their hearts, demanding the foods they craved.They even spoke against God himself, saying,“ God can’t give us food in the wilderness.Yes, he can strike a rock so water gushes out, but he can’t give his people bread and meat.”When the Lord heard them, he was furious. The fire of his wrath burned against Jacob. Yes, his anger rose against Israel,for they did not believe God or trust him to care for them.But he commanded the skies to open; he opened the doors of heaven.He rained down manna for them to eat; he gave them bread from heaven.They ate the food of angels! God gave them all they could hold.He released the east wind in the heavens and guided the south wind by his mighty power.He rained down meat as thick as dust— birds as plentiful as the sand on the seashore!He caused the birds to fall within their camp and all around their tents.The people ate their fill. He gave them what they craved.But before they satisfied their craving, while the meat was yet in their mouths,the anger of God rose against them, and he killed their strongest men. He struck down the finest of Israel’s young men.

But you might ask,‘ What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?’Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years.When you plant your fields in the eighth year, you will still be eating from the large crop of the sixth year. In fact, you will still be eating from that large crop when the new crop is harvested in the ninth year.
