若是你的右眼使你絆跌，你要把它剜出來，丟掉它；因為你肢體中的一肢失掉了，而你的全身不丟在地獄裏，這對於你倒還好。

而且是『碰腳的石頭和跌人的磐石』了。他們碰倒了，是因為他們不信真道；這也是被豫定以至於此的。

那領三萬的上前來，另外帶了三萬，說：「主啊，你交給我三萬；請看，我另外賺了三萬了。」

凡不因我而絆跌的，就有福了。』

假使一塊磨石掛在他的脖子上，拋在海裏，這倒比他把這些微小者之一絆跌了還上算呢！

正如經上所記：『你看，我把一塊碰腳的石頭、令人絆跌的磐石放在錫安，信靠他的必不至於失望。』

我要指示你們應當怕誰：你們要怕那把你們殺了以後、又有權柄把你們丟在地獄裏的；實在的、我告訴你們，你們要怕這一位。

那時耶穌對他們說：『今天晚上你們眾人都必因着我而絆跌；因為經上記着說：「我要擊打牧人，羊羣的羊就分散了。」

凡使這些信我的微小者之一個絆跌的，就使一塊驢牽的磨石掛在他的脖子上，沉在海洋裏，對於他還有益。『因了絆跌的事，世界有禍啊！絆跌的事是不能不來的；但絆跌的事由他而來的，那人有禍啊！

自己裏面卻沒有根，只是暫時的；及至因道而遭苦難或逼迫，立刻就絆跌了。

於是王對僕役們說：「把他捆起來，腳和手，丟出外邊的黑暗裏；在那裏有哀哭和切齒。」

耶穌轉過身來，對彼得說：『撒但退去！你是我的障礙；因為你不意念着上帝的事，卻意念着人的事。』

你可別因食物的緣故來拆毁上帝所造的人了！凡物都是潔淨的；但若有人喫東西而帶着碰倒人的事，這在那人就是惡的了。不喫肉，不喝酒，不在任何事上叫你的弟兄碰倒、才是好的。

所以食物若叫我的弟兄絆跌，我就永遠絕不喫肉，免得使我的弟兄絆跌。

至於我呢、弟兄們，我若還在宣傳割禮，為甚麼還受逼迫呢？若是那樣，十字架之被看為信仰障礙不就早已除掉了麼！
