受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

如經云、我以躓人之石、礙人之磐、置於錫安、信之者、必不啟羞也、

我以當懼者示爾、即殺後、又有權投於地獄者、我誠語汝、當懼者此也、

耶穌謂其徒曰、此夜爾皆將棄我、記有之、我擊牧者、而羊散矣、

陷信我小子之一者、寧以巨磨懸其頸、沉於深海、禍哉斯世、以其陷人故也、夫陷人於罪、事所必有、但陷人者禍矣、

惟內無根、則亦暫耳、及為道而遇患難窘逐、即厭棄之、

君命役曰、縛其手足、投於幽暗、在彼有哀哭切齒矣、

耶穌回顧彼得曰、撒但退、爾阻我、以爾不體上帝之事、乃體人之事耳、

勿因食毀上帝之工、凡物固潔、然於因食而躓者、則惡矣、不食肉、不飲酒、凡事不使兄弟躓者、則善也、

故食物若礙我兄弟、我永不食肉、免其礙之也、

兄弟乎、若我尚宣割禮、何至猶見窘逐乎、若然、則十架之蹇礙已廢矣、
