属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体和邪情私欲都钉在十字架上了。

我们知道，我们的旧人已经与基督同钉十字架，使罪身丧失机能，使我们不再作罪的奴仆，

我要克制自己的身体，叫身体服我，免得我传了给别人，自己反而落选了。

你们这些蛇，这些毒蛇所生的啊，你们怎能逃脱地狱的刑罚呢？

有些人是生来就不能结婚的，有些人不能结婚是因为人使他们这样，也有些人是为了天国的缘故自愿这样的。谁能领受就领受吧！”

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们走遍海洋陆地，要使一个人入教；当他入了教，你们却使他沦为地狱之子，比你们更甚。

那些杀身体却不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们；倒要怕那位能把灵魂和身体都投入地狱里的。

我要指示你们当怕的是谁：当怕那杀身体以后，有权把人投入地狱里的；我告诉你们，应当怕他。
