But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell.

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother,‘ You good for nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says,‘ You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says,‘ You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

If a man says,“ I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

“ Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath,and don’t give place to the devil.

And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice.And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.

When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom.He cried and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’

For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command you to surely open your hand to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor, in your land.

In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another;

not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”

The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said,“ What are we doing? For this man does many signs.

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.

They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.

but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;

A wise man fears and shuns evil, but the fool is hot headed and reckless.

if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me( yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),

Then he will say also to those on the left hand,‘ Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;

that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.

Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death;

If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire.If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire.

For the violence done to your brother Jacob, shame will cover you, and you will be cut off forever.

“ If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,

This is that Moses, who said to the children of Israel,‘ The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.’

The multitude answered,“ You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?”

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.

But I will warn you whom you should fear. Fear him who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also were conversing with him. Some said,“ What does this babbler want to say?” Others said,“ He seems to be advocating foreign deities,” because he preached Jesus and the resurrection.

But brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers!

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

But don’t look down on your brother in the day of his disaster, and don’t rejoice over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction. Don’t speak proudly in the day of distress.

But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said,“ May the Lord rebuke you!”

Shimei said when he cursed,“ Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, and wicked fellow!

When they had brought them, they set them before the council. The high priest questioned them,

Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed. They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.

The people answered him in this way, saying,“ So shall it be done to the man who kills him.”Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab’s anger burned against David, and he said,“ Why have you come down? With whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride, and the naughtiness of your heart; for you have come down that you might see the battle.”

I said to them,“ We, after our ability, have redeemed our brothers the Jews that were sold to the nations; and would you even sell your brothers, and should they be sold to us?” Then they held their peace, and found not a word to say.

But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law,‘ They hated me without a cause.’

Then Asa was angry with the seer, and put him in the prison; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.

You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of Gehenna?

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.For Moses indeed said to the fathers,‘ The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things whatever he says to you.It will be that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.Yahweh said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?

The fool has said in his heart,“ There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire,

Don’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.

They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.

A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:

As the partridge that sits on eggs which she has not laid, so is he who gets riches, and not by right. In the middle of his days, they will leave him. At his end, he will be a fool.

Then David returned to bless his household. Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said,“ How glorious the king of Israel was today, who uncovered himself today in the eyes of his servants’ maids, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

Behold, a voice out of the heavens said,“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. But when the Pharisees heard it, they said,“ This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”

Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

Then the Jews answered him,“ Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”

His brothers asked him,“ Will you indeed reign over us? Will you indeed have dominion over us?” They hated him all the more for his dreams and for his words.

A fool’s lips come into strife, and his mouth invites beatings.

Because of this, the king was angry and very furious, and commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be destroyed.So the decree went out, and the wise men were to be slain. They sought Daniel and his companions to be slain.

Ahab came into his house sullen and angry because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said,“ I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” He laid himself down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”

Saul said,“ Hear now, you son of Ahitub.” He answered,“ Here I am, my lord.”Saul said to him,“ Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said,“ Who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king’s son- in- law, captain of your body guard, and honored in your house?Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? Be it far from me! Don’t let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knows nothing of all this, less or more.”The king said,“ You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you, and all your father’s house.”The king said to the guard who stood about him,“ Turn, and kill the priests of Yahweh; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled, and didn’t disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king wouldn’t put out their hand to fall on the priests of Yahweh.The king said to Doeg,“ Turn and attack the priests!” Doeg the Edomite turned, and he attacked the priests, and he killed on that day eighty- five people who wore a linen ephod.He struck Nob, the city of the priests, with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and nursing babies, and cattle and donkeys and sheep, with the edge of the sword.One of the sons of Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.Abiathar told David that Saul had slain Yahweh’s priests.David said to Abiathar,“ I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I am responsible for the death of all the persons of your father’s house.Stay with me. Don’t be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life. For you will be safe with me.”

For he sees that wise men die; likewise the fool and the senseless perish, and leave their wealth to others.

His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, and they hated him, and couldn’t speak peaceably to him.

When Haman saw that Mordecai didn’t bow down, nor pay him homage, Haman was full of wrath.But he scorned the thought of laying hands on Mordecai alone, for they had made known to him Mordecai’s people. Therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even Mordecai’s people.

Then Nebuchadnezzar in rage and fury commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. Then these men were brought before the king.

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say,‘ He has a demon.’The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say,‘ Behold, a gluttonous man and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children.”

Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him. He said,“ They have creditd David with ten thousands, and they have only credited me with thousands. What can he have more but the kingdom?”Saul watched David from that day and forward.

Then Saul’s anger burned against Jonathan, and he said to him,“ You son of a perverse rebellious woman, don’t I know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother’s nakedness?For as long as the son of Jesse lives on the earth, you will not be established, nor will your kingdom. Therefore now send and bring him to me, for he shall surely die!”Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him,“ Why should he be put to death? What has he done?”Saul cast his spear at him to strike him. By this Jonathan knew that his father was determined to put David to death.

I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
