and said,“ So you are going to destroy the temple and build it again in three days? Then save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”

“你这拆毁圣殿、三日又建造起来的，可以救自己吧！你如果是神的儿子，就从十字架上下来吧！”

说：“你这拆毁殿、三日又建造起来的，救救你自己吧！如果你是上帝的儿子，就从十字架上下来呀！”

说：“你这拆毁殿、三日又建造起来的，救救你自己吧！如果你是神的儿子，就从十字架上下来呀！”

“你这声称把圣殿拆毁又在三天内重建的人啊，救救自己吧！你要是上帝的儿子，就从十字架上下来吧！”

“你这个想拆毁圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来的，救救自己吧！如果你是神的儿子，从十字架上下来吧！”

说：“你这个要拆毁圣所、三天内又建起来的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的儿子，就从十字架上下来吧！”

「你這拆毀聖殿、三日又建造起來的，可以救自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」

說：『你這拆毁殿堂、三天以內建造起來的、救你自己吧！你如果是上帝的兒子，從十字架上下來吧！』

說：「你這個要拆毀聖所、三天內又建起來的人哪，救救你自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」

爾毀殿、三日復建之、可自救也、爾若上帝子、則自十架下矣、

爾毀殿、三日建之、今宜自救也、爾若上帝子、可由十字架下矣、

爾毀聖殿、三日復建者、今宜自救、爾若為天主之子、可自十字架而下、

『吁、爾既能毀聖殿、而於三日內復建之、蓋自救歟！爾果為天主之子、盍自脫於架。』

and saying,“ You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”

“ Look at you now!” they yelled at him.“ You said you were going to destroy the Temple and rebuild it in three days. Well then, if you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!”

and saying,“ You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”

and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.

and saying,“ The One who would demolish the sanctuary and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”

They said,“ This fellow claimed,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God. I can build it again in three days.’ ”

“ If you are the Son of God,” he said,“ throw yourself down. It is written,“‘ The Lord will command his angels to take good care of you. They will lift you up in their hands. Then you won’t trip over a stone.’ ”( Psalm 91:11, 12)

The tempter came to him. He said,“ If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Jesus answered them,“ When you destroy this temple, I will raise it up again in three days.”They replied,“ It has taken 46 years to build this temple. Are you going to raise it up in three days?”But the temple Jesus had spoken about was his body.His disciples later remembered what he had said. That was after he had been raised from the dead. Then they believed the Scripture. They also believed the words that Jesus had spoken.

But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him,“ I am commanding you in the name of the living God. May he judge you if you don’t tell the truth. Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.“ But here is what I say to all of you. From now on, you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One. You will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Those who live on the earth will be happy about this. That’s because those two prophets had made them suffer. The people will celebrate by sending one another gifts.

“ Here comes that dreamer!” they said to one another.“ Come. Let’s kill him. Let’s throw him into one of these empty wells. Let’s say that a wild animal ate him up. Then we’ll see whether his dreams will come true.”

The Roman commander and those guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened. They were terrified. They exclaimed,“ He was surely the Son of God!”

An evil and unfaithful people look for a sign. But none will be given to them except the sign of Jonah.” Then Jesus left them and went away.

“ He saved others,” they said.“ But he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross! Then we will believe in him.

“ Abraham said to him,‘ They do not listen to Moses and the Prophets. So they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”

Suppose you start building and are not able to finish. Then everyone who sees what you have done will laugh at you.They will say,‘ This person started to build but wasn’t able to finish.’
