亚那把被捆绑起来的耶稣押到大祭司该亚法那里。

捉拿耶稣的人把祂押到大祭司该亚法那里。律法教师和长老已聚集在那里。彼得远远地跟着耶稣，一直跟到大祭司的院子里。他坐在卫兵当中，想知道事情的结果。

第二天，官长、长老和律法教师都聚集在耶路撒冷，大祭司亚那，以及该亚法、约翰、亚历山大和大祭司的许多亲族都在场。

他们勾结起来，暗中监视我的行踪，伺机害我。

他们埋伏起来，暗箭伤害纯全无过的人。他们突然袭击，毫无顾忌。他们狼狈为奸，商量暗设网罗，以为谁也看不见。他们图谋不义之事，认为策划得无懈可击。人心真是狡猾。

祭司长和法利赛人听了耶稣的比喻，明白是针对他们讲的。他们试图逮捕耶稣，但又害怕百姓，因为百姓都认为耶稣是先知。

我好像一只被牵去宰杀的驯良羊羔，不知他们要谋害我。他们说：“我们把这棵树连果子一同毁灭，从世上除掉它，使它被遗忘吧！”

借律例制造不幸的首领，岂能与你联盟？他们结党攻击义人，残害无辜。

他们说：“来！我们设计对付耶利米吧，反正我们有祭司教导律法，有智者出谋划策，有先知传讲预言。来吧！我们抨击他，不要理会他的话。”耶和华啊，求你眷顾我，听听敌人对我的指控。人岂能以恶报善？他们竟设陷阱谋害我，求你回想我怎样站在你面前为他们求情，怎样求你不要向他们发烈怒。

但如果你们不听我的话，不守安息日为圣日，仍在安息日运货物进耶路撒冷的城门，我必在各城门点起无法扑灭的大火，烧毁耶路撒冷的宫殿。’”

亚那和该亚法当大祭司。当时，撒迦利亚的儿子约翰住在旷野，上帝向他说话。

当时，彼得还坐在外面的院子里，有一个婢女走过来对他说：“你也是跟那个加利利人耶稣一伙的。”
