再过两天就是逾越节和除酵节，祭司长和律法教师正暗暗地找机会拘捕、杀害耶稣。他们说：“我们不能在节期那天下手，以免在百姓中引起骚乱。”

除酵节，又名逾越节，快到了。祭司长和律法教师因为害怕百姓，便密谋如何杀害耶稣。

“你们要留意，我们现在前往耶路撒冷，人子将被交给祭司长和律法教师。他们要判祂死刑，把祂交给外族人，受嘲弄、鞭打，被钉在十字架上。但第三天祂必复活。”

因为耶稣时常带着门徒到那里聚会，所以出卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方。

逾越节之前，耶稣知道自己快要离开世界回到父那里了。祂一直爱世上属自己的人，并且爱他们到底。吃晚饭的时候，魔鬼已经把出卖耶稣的念头放在加略人西门的儿子犹大的心里。

他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对他们说：“人子将要被出卖，交在人手里。

人子一定会受害，正如圣经上有关祂的记载，但出卖人子的人有祸了，他还不如不生在这世上！”出卖耶稣的犹大问祂：“老师，是我吗？”耶稣说：“你自己说了。”

犹太人的逾越节快到了，有很多人从乡下上耶路撒冷，预备在过节前洁净自己。

祂不在这里，已经复活了！记住祂在加利利对你们说的话，‘人子必须被交在罪人的手中，被钉在十字架上，在第三天复活。’”

“不可把祭牲的血和有酵的饼一起献给我。逾越节的祭物也不可留到第二天早晨。

犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣便上耶路撒冷去。

你们吃的时候，要束腰、穿鞋、手中拿杖，要赶快吃，这是耶和华的逾越节。“因为那一夜我要巡遍埃及，把境内所有长子和头生的牲畜全都杀掉，也要严惩埃及所有的神明。我是耶和华。涂在你们房屋上的血是一个记号，我见到这血就会越过你们。我击打埃及的时候，那灾祸不会落到你们身上。你们要记住这一天，守为耶和华的节期，作为世世代代永远的定例。

耶稣对他们说：“我一直盼望在受难之前和你们同吃这个逾越节的宴席。

“我出卖了清白无辜的人，我犯罪了！”他们说：“那是你自己的事，跟我们有什么关系？”

逾越节前六天，耶稣来到伯大尼，就是祂叫拉撒路从死里复活的村子。
