When he had said these things, Jesus was greatly distressed in spirit, and testified,“ I tell you the solemn truth, one of you will betray me.”

While the king was at his banqueting table, my nard gave forth its fragrance.

Now when the hour came, Jesus took his place at the table and the apostles joined him.And he said to them,“ I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

This is how you are to eat it– dressed to travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the LORD’S Passover.
