过两天就是逾越节和除酵节了。祭司长们和经文士们在图谋怎样用诡计拘捕耶稣，把他杀掉。不过他们说：“不可在节日期间，免得民众发生骚乱。”

除酵节——又叫逾越节——快到了。祭司长们和经文士们在图谋怎样能杀掉耶稣，因为他们怕民众。

“看，我们现在上耶路撒冷去，人子将被出卖给祭司长们和经文士们。他们要定他死罪，并且要把他交给外邦人去戏弄、鞭打、钉上十字架；然后在第三天，他要复活。”

出卖耶稣的犹大也知道那地方，因为耶稣经常在那里与他的门徒们一同聚集。

逾越节前，耶稣知道他离开这世界回到父那里去的时候到了。他一直爱世界上那些属自己的人，并且爱他们到底。晚餐的时候，魔鬼已经把出卖耶稣的念头放在加略人西门的儿子犹大的心里。

他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对门徒们说：“人子将要被交在人的手中。

人子确实要离去，正如经上指着他所写的，但是出卖人子的那个人有祸了。对他来说，没有出生倒好。”那出卖耶稣的犹大应声说：“拉比，不会是我吧？”耶稣对他说：“你已经说了。”

犹太人的逾越节快到了。许多人从乡下上耶路撒冷去，要在节日前洁净自己。

他不在这里，已经复活了！你们当想起他还在加利利的时候怎样告诉你们，说‘人子必须被交在罪人手中，被钉十字架，然后在第三天复活。’”

犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣上耶路撒冷去。

耶稣对他们说：“我一直非常渴望在我受难之前，与你们一起吃这逾越节的晚餐。

说：“我出卖了无辜人的血，我有罪了。”但是他们说：“这与我们有什么关系？你自己看着办吧！”

逾越节前六天，耶稣来到拉撒路所在的伯大尼，就是他使拉撒路从死人中复活的地方。
