For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.

For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay.

“ On my bed night after night I sought him Whom my soul loves; I sought him but did not find him.

I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

Then the sailors became afraid and every man cried out to his god, and they hurled the cargo which was in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. But Jonah had gone below into the stern of the ship, had lain down, and fallen sound asleep.So the captain approached him and said,“ How is it that you are sleeping? Get up, call on your god! Perhaps your god will be concerned about us so that we will not perish.”

Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we first believed.

Nevertheless what you have, hold firmly until I come.
