For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

before the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness.

“ And as for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to his people: I will judge between one animal of the flock and another, separating the sheep from the goats.Isn’t it enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Isn’t it enough for you to drink clear water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?Why must my flock eat what you have trampled down and drink water you have fouled?“ Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will surely judge between the fat sheep and the scrawny sheep.For you fat sheep pushed and butted and crowded my sick and hungry flock until you scattered them to distant lands.So I will rescue my flock, and they will no longer be abused. I will judge between one animal of the flock and another.

before the Lord, for he is coming! He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with his truth.

But he led his own people like a flock of sheep, guiding them safely through the wilderness.

And this is the message I proclaim— that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.

They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.

He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never ending fire.”

Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him.He calls on the heavens above and earth below to witness the judgment of his people.“ Bring my faithful people to me— those who made a covenant with me by giving sacrifices.”

“ I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time— before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

“ God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him.For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

When the Gentiles sin, they will be destroyed, even though they never had God’s written law. And the Jews, who do have God’s law, will be judged by that law when they fail to obey it.

I will purge you of all those who rebel and revolt against me. I will bring them out of the countries where they are in exile, but they will never enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.For the Scriptures say,“‘ As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,‘ every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God.

I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds.Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death.And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
