「當人子在祂的榮耀中與眾天使降臨的時候，祂要坐在榮耀的寶座上，

當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰，懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。

亞當的第七代子孫以諾曾經針對這些人說預言：「看啊！主率領祂千萬的聖者一同降臨，

「在這淫亂、罪惡的世代，如果有人以我和我的道為恥，人子在父的榮耀中與聖天使再來的時候，也要以他為恥。」

「因為人子要在祂父的榮耀裡與眾天使一起降臨，那時，祂將按照各人的行為報應各人。

耶穌說：「我實在告訴你們，到萬物更新、人子坐在祂榮耀的寶座上時，你們這些跟從我的人也要坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列的十二個支派。

看啊！祂要駕雲降臨，世人都要看見祂，包括曾經刺祂的人。地上的萬族都必因祂而哀哭。這事必定實現。阿們！

如果有人以我和我的道為恥，將來人子在自己、天父和聖天使的榮耀中降臨時，也必以這人為恥。

我實實在在地告訴你們，你們會看見天門敞開，上帝的天使以人子為梯上上下下。」

「我在夜間的異象中看見一位像人子的，駕著天雲而來，到亙古長存者那裡，被引到祂面前。他得到權柄、榮耀和國度，各族、各邦、各語種的人都要事奉他。他的統治直到永遠、沒有窮盡，他的國度永不滅亡。

你們要從我的這山谷逃跑，因為山谷必延伸到亞薩。你們必像猶大王烏西雅年間的人躲避大地震一樣逃跑。我的上帝耶和華必帶著所有的聖者降臨。

因為主必在號令聲、天使長的呼喊聲和上帝的號角聲中親自從天降臨，已經離世的基督徒必先復活。

耶穌說：「如你所言。但我告訴你們，將來你們要看見人子坐在大能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。」

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。

得勝者可以和我一同坐在我的寶座上，正如我得勝後與我父一同坐在祂的寶座上一樣。

耶和華永遠掌權，祂已設立施行審判的寶座。

耶穌說：「我是！將來你們要看見人子坐在全能上帝的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。」

說：「加利利人啊！你們為什麼站在這裡望著天空呢？這位離開你們被接到天上的耶穌，你們看見祂怎樣升天，將來祂還要怎樣回來。」

但從今以後，人子要坐在全能上帝的右邊。」

又把審判的權柄交給祂，因為祂是人子。你們不要因此而驚奇，時候一到，一切在墳墓裡的死人都要聽見上帝兒子的聲音，他們都要從墳墓裡出來。行善的人復活後得永生，作惡的人復活後被定罪。」

但論到祂的兒子，祂卻說：「上帝啊，你的寶座永遠長存，你以公義的杖執掌王權。
