迨家主一興而扃其門、爾等始立門外而叩曰：「主為我啟。」主將答曰：「吾不識爾為何許人也。」

天主所誓：「不令入吾安寧」者、又誰耶？非心懷狐疑之諸悖逆乎？鳴呼、若輩之不得入安寗、以不信也；吾人亦可以鑒矣！

啟示者曰：「信哉、吾必速臨！」吾曰：「心所願也！主耶穌可以降矣！」

吾憤乃誓。不令安寧。

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」主曰：「俞、忠信之僕也？爾既忠於小事、將託爾以大事。其進而享乃主之樂。」受二千者亦謂曰：「吾主以二千金見託、予茲又獲二千。」主曰：「俞、忠信之僕也；爾既忠於小事、將託爾以大事。其進而享乃主之樂。」

子夜忽有聲呼曰：「新壻來矣其出迎之！」

一如僕人延佇其主之歸自婚筵。至而叩門、立為之啟。主至、見僕儆醒、斯僕福矣。予實語爾、主且酬以盛筵、躬自束帶而供役矣。

今而後已有正義之榮冠、備以待我；一俟彼日之臨、公明之主、將以斯冠加諸我首；豈惟於我為然、凡渴望其來臨者、亦莫不然也。

恆謝聖父、使吾人堪與諸聖共承光明之洪基、

觀哉、彼駕雲而降矣！凡屬有目、皆當瞻仰；即曩日手釘耶穌於十字架者亦將見之；天下萬族、咸將為之拊膺痛哭。斯言必應、心焉祝之。

故宜振作爾心、昭昭惺惺、凝神壹志、以望耶穌基督臨格時所攜之聖寵。

然則爾等亦當備諸；蓋不意之時、人子至矣。
