『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們潔淨杯盤的外面；裏面呢、卻滿了勒索和放縱。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却盛满了勒索和放荡。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却满了贪婪和放荡。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却满了贪婪和放荡。

“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却盛满了贪婪和放纵。

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却装满了抢夺和放荡。

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们洗净杯子、盘子的外面，里面却盛满了贪心和放纵。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裏面卻盛滿了勒索和放蕩。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裏面卻滿了貪婪和放蕩。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裏面卻滿了貪婪和放蕩。

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裡頭卻盛滿了貪婪和放縱。

“虛偽的經學家和法利賽人哪，你們有禍了！你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裡面卻裝滿了搶奪和放蕩。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，裡面卻盛滿了貪心和放縱。

禍哉、爾偽善之士子與法利賽人乎、以爾潔杯盤之外、而內充以劫奪邪侈也、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾潔杯盤之外、而劫奪非義充其內、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾潔杯盤之外、內則充滿劫奪及非義、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾第潔杯盤之表、而內充貪污邪欲。

“ Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ How terrible for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees! You pretenders! You clean the outside of a cup and dish. But on the inside you are full of greed. You only want to satisfy yourselves.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy— full of greed and self indulgence!

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full from extortion and excess.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence!

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

“ Woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside they are full of greed and self- indulgence.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.

主對他說：『杯盤的外面、你們法利賽人固然潔淨了，但你們裏面呢、卻滿了勒索和邪惡！糊塗人哪，那造外面的、不也造裏面麼？

因為從人心裏發出的有各樣惡念、兇殺、姦淫、淫亂、偷竊、假見證、毁謗：這一切都是能使人俗污的；至於不洗手喫飯呢，那是不能使人俗污的。』

從市場上來，若不洗一洗也不喫：他們所領受而執守的還有許多別的，例如杯、罐、銅器之洗濯等）。這些法利賽人和經學士就詰問耶穌說：『你的門徒為甚麼不照前人的傳統規矩行，卻用俗污的手喫飯呢？』耶穌對他們說：『以賽亞指着你們假冒為善的人傳講神言，傳得不錯；照經上所記載的說：「這人民用嘴脣尊敬我，他們的心卻遠離我：他們徒然敬拜我，將人的誡律當教條教訓人」。他們撇棄了上帝的誡命，執守着人的傳統規矩。』他又對他們說：『你們很聰明地廢棄了上帝的誡命，為要遵守自己的傳統規矩！因為摩西說過：「要孝敬你的父親和母親」；又說：「誹謗父親或母親的、必須死」；你們倒說：「人若對父親或母親說，你可由我得益之物、已經用做「各耳板」了，就是說、用做獻神的禮物了，你們就再不容他對父親或母親作甚麼孝敬的事。這就藉着你們所傳授的、你們的傳統規矩、以取消上帝的話了！你們還作了許多這樣相類的事呢。」

這些人也因酒而搖晃不定，因濃酒而迷迷忽忽；祭司和神言人都因濃酒而搖晃不定，因酒而昏昏亂亂，因濃酒而迷迷糊糊；他們搖晃不定於異象，顛顛倒倒行裁判。因為各席上都滿了嘔吐、污穢，並無一處乾淨。
