「瞎眼的嚮導啊，你們有禍了！你們說，『指著聖殿發誓，不算數；但是指著聖殿裡的金子發誓，就要遵守誓言。』

“你们这瞎眼领路的有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着殿起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

“你们这瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所起誓的算不得什么；但是凡指着圣所中的金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

“你们这瞎眼的向导有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着圣所起誓的算不得什么；但是凡指着圣所中的金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’

『瞎眼的領路人哪，你們有禍啊！你們說：「凡指着殿堂起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着殿堂裏的金子起誓的，就必須負責任。」

「你們這些瞎眼的領路人有禍了！你們說：『如果有人指著聖所起誓，算不得什麼；但如果有人指著聖所裡的金子起誓，就必須遵守。』

禍哉、爾瞽而導者乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿之金而誓、則當償之、

爾瞽而相者、其有禍乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿內之金而誓、則當償之、

禍哉爾曹瞽而導人者、爾素云、指聖殿而誓、則不足為誓、惟指聖殿之金而誓、則當守之、

哀哉爾曹盲而作導者！爾謂指殿而誓、猶同無誓、若指殿中之金而誓、乃受拘束。

“ Woe to you, blind guides! You say,‘ If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’

“ How terrible for you, blind guides! You say,‘ If anyone makes a promise in the name of the temple, it means nothing. But anyone who makes a promise in the name of the gold of the temple must keep that promise.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’

“ Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear‘ by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear‘ by the gold in the Temple.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the temple, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’

Woe unto you, ye blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the sanctuary, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the sanctuary is bound by his oath.’

Woe unto you,[ ye] blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple is bound by nothing. But whoever swears by the gold of the temple is bound by the oath.’

“ Woe to you, you blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.’

隨便他們吧！他們是瞎眼的嚮導。瞎子給瞎子領路，二人都會掉進坑裡。」

瞎眼的嚮導啊！你們濾出蚊蟲，卻吞下駱駝。

「你們也聽過吩咐古人的話，『不可違背誓言，總要向主遵守所起的誓。』但我告訴你們，不可起誓。不可指著天起誓，因為天是上帝的寶座。不可指著地起誓，因為地是上帝的腳凳。不可指著聖城耶路撒冷起誓，因為那是大君王的城。

瞎眼的法利賽人啊！要先洗淨杯盤的裡面，好讓外面也乾淨。

我的弟兄姊妹，最重要的是不可起誓，不可指著天起誓，也不可指著地起誓，不可指著任何東西起誓。你們說話，是就說是，不是就說不是，免得你們受審判。

瞎眼的人啊！供物重要呢？還是使供物神聖的祭壇重要呢？

無知的瞎子啊！金子重要呢？還是使金子神聖的聖殿重要呢？

耶穌說：「我為了審判來到這世界，使瞎眼的可以看見，使看得見的反成了瞎眼的。」有些跟祂在一起的法利賽人聽了這句話，就問：「難道我們也瞎了眼嗎？」耶穌說：「如果你們是瞎眼的，就沒有罪了。但現在你們自稱看得見，所以你們的罪還在。」

以色列的守望者瞎眼無知，是不會叫的啞巴狗，只喜歡躺下睡覺做夢。這些人就像貪吃的狗，不知飽足，又像什麼都不懂的牧人，人人各行其是，追求自己的利益。

我再次警告所有接受割禮的人，他們必須遵守全部的律法。

你們卻說，『人如果把供養父母的錢奉獻給上帝，他就不必供養父母。』你們這是用傳統來廢掉上帝的誡命。

摩西說，『要孝敬父母』，又說，『咒罵父母的，必被處死。』你們卻認為人若對父母說，『我把供養你們的錢財已經全部奉獻給上帝了』，他就可以不奉養父母。你們就是這樣為了拘守傳統而廢除上帝的道，類似的情形還有很多。」
