how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation had its beginning when it was spoken of by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

Likewise the man who is in the field must not turn back.Remember Lot’s wife!

But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark.They didn’t know until the flood came and swept them all away. This is the way the coming of the Son of Man will be.

Or do you despise the riches of his kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Now as he spoke about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and replied,“ Leave for now, but when I have an opportunity I’ll call for you.”
