Again he sent other slaves, saying,‘ Tell those who have been invited,“ Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened cattle are all butchered and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast!” ’

王再派其他奴仆去，说，‘去告诉被邀请的人，我的宴席已经备好，公牛和肥畜都宰了，一切都预备妥当，来赴婚宴吧！’

他再派另一些仆人去，说：‘你们告诉被邀请的人，我已经预备好了筵席，公牛和肥畜已经宰了，一切都预备妥当。来参加婚筵吧！’

王又派了别的奴仆，说：‘你们去对那些被邀请的人说，看哪，我的午餐我已经预备好了，公牛和肥畜已经宰杀了，一切都预备好了，请你们来赴婚宴。’

他再派另一些僕人去，說：‘你們告訴被邀請的人，我已經預備好了筵席，公牛和肥畜已經宰了，一切都預備妥當。來參加婚筵吧！’

他又差遣別的奴僕，說：「要告訴那些被請的人說：看哪，我的筵席我已經豫備好了；我的公牛和肥畜已經宰了，百物齊備了，來赴婚筵吧！」

王又派了別的奴僕，說：『你們去對那些被邀請的人說，看哪，我的午餐我已經預備好了，公牛和肥畜已經宰殺了，一切都預備好了，請你們來赴婚宴。』

復遣他僕曰、告所請者云、我餐已具、牛與肥畜已宰、百物俱備、可就筵矣、

“ Then he sent some more servants and said,‘ Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

“ Then he sent some more slaves. He said,‘ Tell those who were invited that I have prepared my dinner. I have killed my oxen and my fattest cattle. Everything is ready. Come to the wedding dinner.’

Again he sent other servants, saying,‘ Tell those who are invited,“ See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’

“ So he sent other servants to tell them,‘ The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!’

Again, he sent out other servants and said,‘ Tell those who are invited: See, I’ve prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

Again, he sent out other servants, saying,‘ Tell those who are invited,“ See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’

Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.

Again, he sent out other slaves, and said,‘ Tell those who are invited: Look, I’ve prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and[ my] fatlings[ are] killed, and all things[ are] ready: come unto the marriage.

Again he sent other slaves, saying,‘ Tell those who have been invited,“ Look! The feast I have prepared for you is ready. My oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.”’

Again he sent out other servants, saying,‘ Tell those who are invited,“ Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said,“ It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you repudiate it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Again, he sent other slaves, more than the first; and they did the same things to them.

Then he* said to his slaves,‘ The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to tell those who had been invited,‘ Come, because everything is ready now.’

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

After three days Paul called together those who were the leading men of the Jews, and when they came together, he began saying to them,“ Brothers, though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was handed over to the Romans as a prisoner from Jerusalem.And when they had examined me, they were willing to release me because there were no grounds for putting me to death.But when the Jews objected, I was forced to appeal to Caesar, not that I had any accusation against my nation.For this reason, therefore, I requested to see you and to speak with you, since I am wearing this chain for the sake of the hope of Israel.”They said to him,“ We have neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor has any of the brothers come here and reported or spoken anything bad about you.But we desire to hear from you what your views are; for regarding this sect, it is known to us that it is spoken against everywhere.”When they had set a day for Paul, people came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.Some were being persuaded by the things said by Paul, but others would not believe.And when they disagreed with one another, they began leaving after Paul said one parting statement:“ The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers,saying,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, and will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, and will not perceive;For the hearts of this people have become insensitive, And with their ears they hardly hear, And they have closed their eyes; Otherwise they might see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.” ’Therefore, let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.”

Now after this the Lord appointed seventy two others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.And He was saying to them,“ The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.Go; behold, I am sending you out like lambs in the midst of wolves.Carry no money belt, no bag, no sandals, and greet no one along the way.And whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace be to this house.’And if a man of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him; but if not, it will return to you.Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they provide; for the laborer is deserving of his wages. Do not move from house to house.Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is served to you;and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,‘ Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.’I say to you, it will be more tolerable on that day for Sodom than for that city.“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that occurred in you had occurred in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will be brought down to Hades!“ The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; but the one who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

This is the bread that comes down out of heaven, so that anyone may eat from it and not die.I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying,“ How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”So Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”

So then those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way to Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone.But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, preaching the good news of the Lord Jesus.

and He said to them,“ So it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

“ I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, friends; Drink and drink deeply, lovers.”

Wisdom has built her house, She has carved out her seven pillars;She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; She has also set her table;

They refused to listen, And did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You performed among them; So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But You are a God of forgiveness, Gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy; And You did not abandon them.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
