彼與爾同餐、則於爾之愛筵、有如暗礁、為無懼之牧者、惟己是飼、為無雨之雲、因風飄蕩、為無果之秋樹、再死根拔、

蓋地既霑屢降之雨、而生百蔬、適耕者之用、則受祝於上帝、若生棘茨則見棄、而近於詛、終見爇矣、○

凡在我之枝、而不實者、則去之、實則潔之、使實尤繁也、

人既因識主救者耶穌基督、得脫世污、若復為其所累所勝、則後患尤劇於前、蓋未識義路、較識之而背所受之聖誡猶愈也、斯人也、如諺所云、犬既吐而轉食之、豕既浴而復淖之、

有敬虔之貌、而無其實、若此者宜遠之、

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、蓋日將至、爾敵必築壘環爾、四週困爾、且擲爾及爾中子女於地、不遺一石於石上、以爾不知眷顧爾之日也、○
