於是耶穌又詰問他們說：『你們找誰？』他們說：『拿撒勒人耶穌。』

他出去到了門廊，另有一個女的看見他、就對那裏的人說，『這個人、素來也是同拿撒勒人耶穌一夥的。』

注意吧，你必懷孕，生個兒子；剃頭刀都不可上他的頭，因為這孩子一出母腹就歸上帝做離俗人；是他要開始拯救以色列人脫離非利士人之手的。』

在第六個月、天使加伯列從上帝那裏被差遣，到加利利的一座城名叫拿撒勒，

約瑟和馬利亞辦完了照主律法應辦的一切事，就回加利利、到自己的城拿撒勒去了。

我們查出這個人簡直是瘟疫，在普天下眾猶太人中攪動亂事，又是拿撒勒派的一個頭目。

說：『拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你何干？你來要滅我們麼？我知道你是誰，你乃是上帝之聖者。』

彼拉多也寫了一個罪名，安在十字架上；寫的是：「拿撒勒人耶穌，猶太人的王！」

我們所聽見的、有誰能相信呢？永恆主的膀臂向誰現露過呢？他在永恆主面前長起來像幼樹秧，像根出於乾旱之地；他沒有佳形威儀讓我們瞻仰他，也沒有美容使我們羨慕他。

這全部的事發生，是要應驗主藉神言人所說的話，說：

因為這為你的殿之熱心把我燒得急死了；而辱罵你的辱罵都落到我身上來了。我以禁食壓制我心，這倒成了我的羞辱。

他們回答他說：『拿撒勒人耶穌。』耶穌對他們說：『我就是。』把耶穌送官的猶大也同他們站着。

『以色列人哪，你們要聽這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌、一個蒙上帝用異能奇事神迹向你們所證許的人；（這一切事、照你們自己所知道的、是上帝藉着他在你們中間施行過的）；

也是我將你們從埃及地領上來的；我領了你們在曠野四十年，使你們得了亞摩利人之地以為業。我也從你們子弟中興起了神言人，從你們青年人之中興起了離俗人。以色列人哪，不是這樣麼？』永恆主發神諭說。但是你們卻叫離俗人喝酒，又囑咐神言人說：「不可傳講神言。」

『離俗人的法規是這樣：離俗人離俗的日子足滿的那一天、人要帶他到會棚的出入處；

她許個願說：『萬軍之永恆主啊，你若真地看到使女的困苦，眷念到我，不忘了使女，而賜給使女一個男的後裔，那麼我就要使他儘他一生的日子獻與永恆主，剃刀總不上到他的頭。』
