既出去，到了門口，又有一個使女看見他，就對那裏的人說：「這個人也是同拿撒勒人耶穌一夥的。」

你必懷孕生一個兒子，不可用剃頭刀剃他的頭，因為這孩子一出胎就歸神作拿細耳人。他必起首拯救以色列人脫離非利士人的手。」

到了第六個月，天使加百列奉神的差遣往加利利的一座城去（這城名叫拿撒勒），

約瑟和馬利亞照主的律法辦完了一切的事，就回加利利，到自己的城拿撒勒去了。

我們看這個人，如同瘟疫一般，是鼓動普天下眾猶太人生亂的，又是拿撒勒教黨裏的一個頭目，

「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼相干？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是神的聖者。」

彼拉多又用牌子寫了一個名號，安在十字架上，寫的是：「猶太人的王，拿撒勒人耶穌。」

我們所傳的有誰信呢？耶和華的膀臂向誰顯露呢？他在耶和華面前生長如嫩芽，像根出於乾地。他無佳形美容；我們看見他的時候，也無美貌使我們羨慕他。

這一切的事成就是要應驗主藉先知所說的話，

因我為你的殿心裏焦急，如同火燒，並且辱罵你人的辱罵都落在我身上。我哭泣，以禁食刻苦我心；這倒算為我的羞辱。

他們回答說：「找拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌說：「我就是！」賣他的猶大也同他們站在那裏。

「以色列人哪，請聽我的話：神藉着拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間施行異能、奇事、神蹟，將他證明出來，這是你們自己知道的。

我也將你們從埃及地領上來，在曠野引導你們四十年，使你們得亞摩利人之地為業。我從你們子弟中興起先知，又從你們少年人中興起拿細耳人。以色列人哪，不是這樣嗎？這是耶和華說的。你們卻給拿細耳人酒喝，囑咐先知說：不要說預言。

「拿細耳人滿了離俗的日子乃有這條例：人要領他到會幕門口，

許願說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，你若垂顧婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，賜我一個兒子，我必使他終身歸與耶和華，不用剃頭刀剃他的頭。」
