腓力找到拿但业，告诉他：“摩西在律法书上所写的，和众先知所记的那位，我们已经遇见了，他就是约瑟的儿子拿撒勒人耶稣。”拿但业说：“拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗？”腓力说：“你来看！”

他再问他们：“你们找谁？”他们说：“拿撒勒人耶稣！”

他出到门口，又有一个婢女看见他，就对那里的人说：“这人是和拿撒勒人耶稣一伙的。”

看哪！你必怀孕，生一个儿子；不可用剃刀剃他的头，这孩子从在母腹开始就归神作拿细耳人；他必拯救以色列人脱离非利士人的手。”

到了第六个月，天使加百列奉神差遣，往加利利的拿撒勒城去，

他们按着主的律法办完一切，就回加利利，到自己的城拿撒勒去了。

我们看这个人就像瘟疫一样，是煽动普天下犹太人生乱的人，又是拿撒勒派的首领。

说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，我们跟你有什么关系呢？你来毁灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是神的圣者。”

彼拉多写了一个牌子，放在十字架上头，写的是：“犹太人的王拿撒勒人耶稣。”

谁会相信我们所传的？耶和华的膀臂向谁显露呢？他在耶和华面前如嫩芽生长起来，像根出于干旱之地；他没有佳形，也没有威仪，好叫我们仰慕他；他也没有美貌，使我们被他吸引。

这整件事的发生，是要应验主藉着先知所说的：

因我为你的殿，心中迫切如同火烧；辱骂你的人的辱骂，都落在我身上。我哭泣禁食，这竟成了我的羞辱。

他们回答：“拿撒勒人耶稣！”耶稣说：“我就是。”出卖耶稣的犹大和他们站在那里。

“以色列人哪，请听听这几句话：正如你们所知道的，神已经藉着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间施行了大能、奇事、神迹，向你们证明他是神所立的。

我不是带你们出埃及地，领你们在旷野度过四十年，叫你们得着亚摩利人的地为业吗？我从你们子孙中兴起先知，从年轻人中兴起拿细耳人；以色列人哪！这不是事实吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。‘但你们迫使拿细耳人喝酒，吩咐先知说：不要说预言。

“‘拿细耳人的律例是这样：离俗的人的日子满了那天，人要把他带到会幕的门口；

并且许愿，说：“万军之耶和华啊，你若是看顾使女的困苦，记念我，不忘记你的使女，赐给使女一个儿子，我就必把他一生献给耶和华，不剃他的头。”
