But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee,

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.

So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said,“ Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”Then Lot said to them,“ Please, no, my lords!Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one; please let me escape there( is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.”And he said to him,“ See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.

But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,“ Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.

Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying,“ Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

Then Ananias answered,“ Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”

They answered and said to him,“ Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

And Samuel said,“ How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.” But the Lord said,“ Take a heifer with you, and say,‘ I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

Others said,“ This is the Christ.” But some said,“ Will the Christ come out of Galilee?Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?”
