Jesus answered,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

“ If you want to be perfect,” Jesus said to him,“ go, sell your belongings and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

吾語汝、以虛夸之財結友、則爾喪時、得接入永宅矣、

故爾當純全、若爾天父焉、

有所需、變物產分之、

勿積財於地蠹食銹壞、盜穴而竊之處、惟積財於天、蠹不食、銹不壞、盜不穴不竊之處、

當諭此世之富者、心勿傲、無定之財勿恃、惟賴永生上帝、洪賜我眾、百物以享之、故命富者為善、累積美事、喜以賙濟、樂與眾共、夫如是、厚築善基、預備厥後、克受永生、

役於我者、當從我、我所在、吾役亦在、役於我者、父必貴之、○

如是、爾曹不舍所有者、不得為我徒也、○

信者之眾、一心一志、不私己財、有無相通、使徒力證主耶穌復生、眾獲大寵焉、其聞無窮乏者、蓋有田宅者、售而挈其金、置使徒前、有所需則分之、○

亦謂眾曰、欲為吾徒、則當克己、日負十字架以從、

我羊聽我聲、我識之、而羊從我、

由是而往、見亞勒腓子利未、坐於稅關、耶穌曰、從我、遂起從之、

耶穌曰我誠告爾、爾曹從我、至復興之際、人子坐榮位、爾亦坐十二位、審以色列十二支派矣、

徒不踰師、德備者如師、○

蓋我在縲絏、爾體恤之、人奪爾業、爾喜受之、自知在天有愈美恆存之業、

故毀此誡至微之一、又以是教人者、在天國必謂之至微、遵此誡而教人者、在天國必謂之大矣、我語汝、倘爾之義、無以加乎士子𠵽唎㘔人之義、斷不進於天國也、○

耶穌語門徒曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、

然我未嘗得、我事猶未成、惟得生是求、蓋為此意、基督耶穌獲我、兄弟乎、我不以為既得、惟不顧其後、向前騰踔趨、趨及標準、欲得上帝緣基督耶穌上召之賞也、練達者、宜懷此意、否則上帝將以此啟迪爾、

厥後、耶穌出、見稅吏名利未、坐於稅關、謂之曰、從我、

耶穌由是而往、見一人、名馬太、坐於稅關、謂之曰、從我、遂起、從之、

耶穌曰、從我、我將使爾漁人如漁魚焉、

不見仁義之人、平康終吉兮、

遂呼眾與門徒、曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、

亞伯蘭九十有九歲、時耶和華顯見、曰全能之上帝、我也、爾之所行、當合乎我、務無失德。

其畧如左、挪亞於當世為義、德無不備、所行合乎上帝。

烏士有人、品行純良、孳孳為善、寅畏上帝、遠諸不善、厥名約百、

耶穌曰、從我、任夫死人葬其死人、○
