Jesus answered,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

當售爾所有以施濟、為己備常新之囊、及不匱之財在天、即盜不至、蠹不壞之處、

耶穌顧其人、即愛之、謂之曰、爾猶缺一、往鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來負十字架而從我、

耶穌聞之曰、爾猶缺一、悉鬻所有以濟貧、則必有財於天、且來從我、

我告爾、以不義之財結友、至爾匱時、彼亦接爾於永宅矣、

故爾當純全、若爾在天之父純全焉、

且變產以分眾、視各人所乏、

勿積財於地、彼有蠹蝕朽壞、有盜穿窬而竊、當積財於天、彼無蠹蝕朽壞、亦無盜穿窬而竊、

當諭此世之富者、心勿驕傲、勿恃無定之財、惟恃永生天主、厚賜我眾百物以享之、故命富者為善、積累美事、喜於施舍、樂於濟眾、如是、為己積善作基、以備厥後可得永生、○

欲事我者、當從我、我所在、事我者亦在、人若事我、我父必貴之、

如是凡爾曹不盡舍所有者、不得為我徒、○

信者之眾、一心一志、無人謂我之貲屬我、所有悉為公用、使徒以能力證主耶穌復活、皆獲大寵、其中無窮乏者、蓋有田宅者、鬻而攜其金、置使徒足前、視各人所需而分予之、○

又謂眾曰、人欲從我、則當克己、日負其十字架而從我、

我羊聽我聲、我識之、而彼從我、

由是而住、見亞勒腓子利未、坐於稅關、謂之曰、從我、遂起而從之、

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、爾曹從我者、至萬物更新、人子坐其榮位時、爾曹亦將坐十二位、審判以色列十二支派、

徒不踰師、凡學全備者、僅能如師、○

蓋我在縲絏之中、爾體恤我、或作蓋人在縲絏爾體恤之人奪爾業、爾忍之而喜、自知在天有愈美恆在之業、

故毀此誡至微之一、又以是教人者、在天國必稱為至微、遵行此誡而以之教人者、在天國必稱為大也、我告爾、爾之義若非勝於經士及法利賽人之義、斷不能入天國、○

時耶穌謂門徒曰、凡欲從我者當克己、負十字架而從我、

我非言已得、或已成全、我惟追求、或可得之、基督耶穌得我、亦為欲我得之也、兄弟乎、我不自以為已得、惟有一事、我不顧後而進前、向標準直趨、欲得其賞、即天主因基督耶穌、由上召我之賞、凡我儕純全者、當懷此意、若有異意者、天主必以此示爾、

厥後耶穌見稅吏名利未者、坐於稅關、乃謂之曰、從我、

耶穌由此而往、見一人、名瑪太、坐於稅關、謂之曰、從我、遂起而從之、

耶穌謂之曰、從我、我將使爾為漁人之漁者、

爾試看完全人、且觀正直人、彼和平者結局必善、

遂召眾與門徒曰、人欲從我、則當克己、負其十字架而從我、

亞伯蘭九十九歲時、主顯現於亞伯蘭諭之曰、我乃全能之天主、爾當奉事我、為全備之人、

挪亞紀畧如左、挪亞於當世、為義人完人、奉事天主、

烏斯地有人、其名約百、為人篤實篤實或作良善下同正直、敬畏天主、遠離惡事、

耶穌曰、爾從我、任死者葬其死者、
