And he said unto him, Why askest thou me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments.

“ Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied.“ There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.

And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.

There is none holy as Jehovah; For there is none besides thee, Neither is there any rock like our God.

For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.

And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith;and the law is not of faith; but, He that doeth them shall live in them.Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

But the children rebelled against me; they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live in them; they profaned my sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

and testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law. Yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thine ordinances( which if a man do, he shall live in them), and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, And shall sing of thy righteousness.Jehovah is gracious, and merciful; Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.Jehovah is good to all; And his tender mercies are over all his works.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? The lovingkindness of God endureth continually.

And I gave them my statutes, and showed them mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live in them.Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah that sanctifieth them.
