The disciples say unto him, If the case of the man is so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.

门徒对耶稣说：“人和妻子既是这样，倒不如不娶。”

门徒对耶稣说：“如果夫妻关系是这样，还不如不结婚。”

门徒对他说：“夫妻的关系既然是这样，倒不如不结婚了。”

他的门徒们对耶稣说：“如果丈夫与妻子的关系是这样，结婚就没有益处了。”

門徒對耶穌說：「人和妻子既是這樣，倒不如不娶。」

門徒對耶穌說：「丈夫和妻子的關係既是這樣，倒不如不娶。」

門徒對耶穌說：「丈夫和妻子的關係既是這樣，倒不如不娶。」

門徒對耶穌說：「如果夫妻關係是這樣，還不如不結婚。」

門徒對他說：“夫妻的關係既然是這樣，倒不如不結婚了。”

門徒對耶穌說：『人和妻子的關係既是這樣，結婚就無益了！』

他的門徒們對耶穌說：「如果丈夫與妻子的關係是這樣，結婚就沒有益處了。」

門徒曰、人於妻如此、寧勿娶、

門徒謂耶穌曰、人於妻如此、寧勿娶、

門徒曰：『若夫妻關係、嚴格乃爾、則不如不娶之為善矣。』

The disciples said to him,“ If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”

Here is what the disciples said to him.“ If that’s the way it is between a husband and wife, it is better not to get married.”

The disciples said to him,“ If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”

Jesus’ disciples then said to him,“ If this is the case, it is better not to marry!”

His disciples said to him,“ If the relationship of a man with his wife is like this, it’s better not to marry.”

The disciples* said to Him,“ If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry.”

His disciples said to Him,“ If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”

His disciples said to Him,“ If the relationship of a man with his wife is like this, it’s better not to marry!”

His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with[ his] wife, it is not good to marry.

The disciples said to him,“ If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is better not to marry!”

His disciples said to him,“ If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”

But I say to the unmarried and to widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

I think therefore that this is good by reason of the distress that is upon us, namely, that it is good for a man to be as he is.Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.But shouldest thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Yet such shall have tribulation in the flesh: and I would spare you.

forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth.

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, And obtaineth favor of Jehovah.

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.But, because of fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a contentious woman in a wide house.

It is better to dwell in a desert land, Than with a contentious and fretful woman.

But younger widows refuse: for when they have waxed wanton against Christ, they desire to marry;having condemnation, because they have rejected their first pledge.And withal they learn also to be idle, going about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.I desire therefore that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, give no occasion to the adversary for reviling:for already some are turned aside after Satan.

Drink waters out of thine own cistern, And running waters out of thine own well.Should thy springs be dispersed abroad, And streams of water in the streets?Let them be for thyself alone, And not for strangers with thee.Let thy fountain be blessed; And rejoice in the wife of thy youth.As a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love.

A foolish son is the calamity of his father; And the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

A wife is bound for so long time as her husband liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is free to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.But she is happier if she abide as she is, after my judgment: and I think that I also have the Spirit of God.

But I would have you to be free from cares. He that is unmarried is careful for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord:but he that is married is careful for the things of the world, how he may please his wife,and is divided. So also the woman that is unmarried and the virgin is careful for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married is careful for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.And this I say for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is seemly, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.
