吾語爾、凡非因不貞之故、出其妻而別娶者、姦也；娶已出之妻者、亦姦也。』

I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

Here is what I tell you. Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery. A man may divorce his wife only if she has not been faithful to him.”

And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”

And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery— unless his wife has been unfaithful.”

A wife is bound for so long time as her husband liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is free to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth one that is put away from a husband committeth adultery.

But unto the married I give charge, yea not I, but the Lord, That the wife depart not from her husband( but should she depart, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband); and that the husband leave not his wife.But to the rest say I, not the Lord: If any brother hath an unbelieving wife, and she is content to dwell with him, let him not leave her.And the woman that hath an unbelieving husband, and he is content to dwell with her, let her not leave her husband.

It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one of you hath his father’s wife.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, because of the woman whom thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.

And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.

They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, will he return unto her again? will not that land be greatly polluted? But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith Jehovah.

Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and made the inhabitants of Jerusalem to play the harlot, and led Judah astray.

The wife hath not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power over his own body, but the wife.
