耶稣说：“为什么问我关于善的事呢？只有一位是善的。如果你想进入永生，就应当遵守诫命。”

所以，我们要竭力进入那安息，免得有人随着那不顺从的样子就跌倒了。

人若赚得全世界，却赔上自己的生命，有什么好处呢？人还能用什么换回自己的生命呢？

所有不洁净的、行可憎的和说谎的，决不可以进入这城。只有名字记在羊羔生命册上的才可以进去。

坚固门徒的心，劝他们恒守所信的道，又说：“我们进入神的国，必须经历许多苦难。”

凡是想救自己生命的，必丧掉生命；但为我牺牲自己生命的，必救了生命。人若赚得全世界，却丧失自己，或赔上自己，有什么好处呢？

耶稣对门徒说：“我实在告诉你们，有钱的人是很难进天国的。我又告诉你们，骆驼穿过针眼，比有钱的人进神的国还容易呢！”
