Peter responded and said to Jesus,“ Lord, it is good that we are here. If You want, I will make three tabernacles here: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Peter said to Jesus,“ Rabbi, it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—because he did not know what to say, since they were terrified.

As the two men were departing from him, Peter said to Jesus,“ Master, it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”— not knowing what he was saying.

and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Your eyes will see the King in his beauty; you will see a vast land.

Then Moses said,“ Please, let me see your glory.”He said,“ I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim the name‘ the LORD’ before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

Many are asking,“ Who can show us anything good?” Let the light of your face shine on us, LORD.

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”Jesus said to him,“ Have I been among you all this time and you do not know me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

I am torn between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ— which is far better—

“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they will see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the world’s foundation.

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is.
