“ Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

“ What I’m about to tell you is true. Some who are standing here will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

又謂眾曰：『我實告爾、現立斯中者、必有未嘗死味以前、獲睹天主之國乘權而來者焉。』

予實語爾、現立於斯者、必有未嘗死味之前、得睹天主之國者矣。』

猶太人曰：『今知爾果被魔矣！夫亞伯漢死矣、諸先知亡矣、而爾則曰：「人守吾道、永不嘗死亡之味、」

耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。第予告爾、爾將見人子坐於全能者之右、自天駕雲而降。』

一邑見逐、則投他邑；吾實語爾、義塞諸邑、爾未遍歷、而人子已臨矣。

今所見者、乃耶穌降生為人時、本輸天神一籌、俾藉天主之聖寵、為普世生靈親嘗死亡之味；及其既死、則已冠以光榮尊貴之冕矣。

將見人子於赫赫威光中駕雲而降、

耶穌坐於忠果山、門人潛謁曰：『請告我事見何時；爾之降臨、及世之終局、有何朕兆？』

嘗蒙默啟、生前必得親睹上主之基督。

蓋正如電光發自東方、照徹西方、人子之臨、亦復如是。屍之所在、群鷹集焉。大難甫平、日即晦冥、月失其明；眾星隕墜、天德動搖。至是、人子之標幟、見於中天。時率土眾民、咸將哀泣、見人子威靈顯赫駕雲而降、遣天神吹角、發音洪亮、集簡選之人於四方、自天此極、至天彼極。

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

緣此、爾宜朝乾夕惕；蓋爾不知爾主蒞臨之日也。

以待其聖子耶穌之臨格。聖子者、即天主所起於死者之中、而令吾人免於將臨之譴怒者也。

當是之時、將見人子駕雲而降、威光顯赫、此兆一見端倪、爾等當舉目翹首、蓋救贖之恩近矣。』
