我誠語汝、立於此者、有人未死、得見人子臨於其國矣、

我誠告爾、立於此者有人、未死、克見人子得國而臨矣、

我誠告爾、立於此者有人、未死之先、必見人子臨其國矣、

吾實語爾、現立於斯者、必有未死之前、獲睹人子乘權而降焉。』

“ Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

耶穌繼續說：「我實在告訴你們，有些站在這裡的人會在有生之年看見上帝的國帶著能力降臨。」

我實在告訴你們，有些站在這裡的人在有生之年就必看見上帝的國。」

那些猶太人說：「現在我們的確知道你是被鬼附身了！亞伯拉罕和眾先知都死了，你還說人如果遵行你的道，必永遠不死。

耶穌說：「如你所言。但我告訴你們，將來你們要看見人子坐在大能者的右邊，駕著天上的雲降臨。」

如果你們在一個地方遭迫害，就避到另一個地方。我實在告訴你們，沒等你們走遍以色列的城鎮，人子就來了。

只看見耶穌暫時比天使低微一點，好靠著上帝的恩典為全人類親嚐死亡的滋味。祂因為經歷死亡的痛苦而得到了尊貴和榮耀作冠冕。

那時，世人必看到人子駕著雲、帶著極大的能力和榮耀降臨。

耶穌正坐在橄欖山上，門徒私下來問祂：「請告訴我們，這事什麼時候會發生？你再來和世界末日的時候會有什麼預兆？」

聖靈曾啟示他：他去世前必能親眼看見主所立的基督。

人子降臨時的情形就像閃電從東方發出一直照到西方。屍體在哪裡，禿鷹就會聚集在哪裡。「當災難的日子一過，『太陽變黑，月亮無光，眾星隕落，天體震動。』「那時，天上會出現人子降臨的預兆，地上的萬族都要哀哭，他們將看見人子帶著能力和極大的榮耀駕著天上的雲降臨。在響亮的號聲中，祂將差遣天使從四面八方、天涯海角招聚祂揀選的人。

我告訴你們，祂必很快為他們伸冤。不過當人子來的時候，在世上找得到有信心的人嗎？」

所以，你們要警醒，因為你們不知道你們的主會在哪一天來。

等候祂的兒子從天降臨，就是祂使之從死裡復活、救我們脫離將來可怕審判的耶穌。

那時，他們要看見人子駕著雲、帶著能力和極大的榮耀降臨。當這些事發生時，你們要昂首挺胸，因為你們蒙救贖的日子近了。」
