Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.“ Never, Lord!” he said.“ This shall never happen to you!”

Peter took Jesus to one side and began to scold him.“ Never, Lord!” he said.“ This will never happen to you!”

And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying,“ Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to you.”

But Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things.“ Heaven forbid, Lord,” he said.“ This will never happen to you!”

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him,“ Oh no, Lord! This will never happen to you!”

And yet Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying,“ God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You!”

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him:“ God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!”

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed[ it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out[ his] hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver[ him] into the hands of the Gentiles.And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets[ declare] good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak[ that which is] good.
