忽有一個迦南婦人從那境內出來，嚷着說：『主啊，大衛的子孫哪，可憐我；我女兒被鬼附得很苦呢。』

這時候，忽然來了一個住在那地區的迦南婦人，她呼叫說：「主啊，大衛的後裔，可憐我吧！我的女兒有鬼魔附身，痛苦萬分。」

其地有迦南婦、來呼曰、主、大闢之裔、矜恤我、我女患鬼、苦甚、

有一迦南婦、由其地出、大聲呼曰、主、大衛之裔、矜憐我、我女患魔苦甚、

有迦南婦人來自彼域、大呼曰：『主、大維子、其垂憐焉。吾女為魔所祟、苦甚』

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon- possessed and suffering terribly.”

A woman from Canaan lived near Tyre and Sidon. She came to him and cried out,“ Lord! Son of David! Have mercy on me! A demon controls my daughter. She is suffering terribly.”

And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”

A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.”

Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely tormented by a demon.”

And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely demon possessed.”

And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”

And behold, a Canaanitish woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord,[ thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

A Canaanite woman from that area came and cried out,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon- possessed!”

Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

“ Lord,” he said,“ have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers severely. He often falls into the fire and often into the water.

So he called out,“ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then those in front told him to keep quiet, but he kept crying out all the more,“ Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Instead, immediately after hearing about Him, a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit came and fell at His feet.Now the woman was Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to drive the demon out of her daughter.

“ What do you think about the Messiah? Whose Son is He?”“ David’s,” they told Him.He asked them,“ How is it then that David, inspired by the Spirit, calls Him‘ Lord’:The Lord declared to my Lord,‘ Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet’?“ If David calls Him‘ Lord,’ how then can the Messiah be his Son?”

Out of the crowd, one man answered Him,“ Teacher, I brought my son to You. He has a spirit that makes him unable to speak.Wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I asked Your disciples to drive it out, but they couldn’t.”He replied to them,“ You unbelieving generation! How long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to Me.”So they brought him to Him. When the spirit saw Him, it immediately convulsed the boy. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.“ How long has this been happening to him?” Jesus asked his father.“ From childhood,” he said.“ And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

The daughter of Tyre, the wealthy people, will seek your favor with gifts.

and raised their voices, saying,“ Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

Others said,“ This is the Messiah!” But some said,“ Surely the Messiah doesn’t come from Galilee, does He?Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from David’s offspring and from the town of Bethlehem, where David once lived?”

Answer me when I call, God, who vindicates me. You freed me from affliction; be gracious to me and hear my prayer.

Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am weak; heal me, Lord, for my bones are shaking;

Then the news about Him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to Him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And He healed them.

There were two blind men sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out,“ Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”The crowd told them to keep quiet, but they cried out all the more,“ Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”

You are not being sent to many peoples of unintelligible speech or difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. No doubt, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.

Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.And don’t presume to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones!

“ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even raise his eyes to heaven but kept striking his chest and saying,‘ God, turn Your wrath from me— a sinner!’
