越數日、耶穌復入加伯農、人聞其在室、即有眾聚集、致門前亦無隙地、耶穌向之講道、有人攜一癱瘓者來見耶穌、四人舁之、因人眾不得近、乃撤耶穌所在之屋頂為穴、以癱瘓者所臥之榻、縋之而下、耶穌見其信、謂癱瘓者曰、吾子、爾罪赦矣、有經士數人坐於彼、心中議云、此人何敢如此言、此褻瀆也、天主之外、孰能赦罪、耶穌心知彼有此議、謂之曰、爾曹何為心中如此議乎、向癱瘓者云、爾罪赦、抑云起、取爾之榻而行、此二者孰易、今特令爾知人子在地、有赦罪之權、即語癱瘓者曰、我命爾起、取榻歸爾家、其人即起、於眾前取榻而出、眾奇之、歸榮於天主曰、我儕從未見若是者、○

其聲名揚於敘利亞遍地、凡身有疾、負各種病痛者、及患魔者、癲癇者、癱瘓者、人攜之就耶穌、耶穌悉醫愈之、於是自迦利利、第加波利、耶路撒冷、猶太、及約但河外、有群眾從之、
