耶穌在革尼撒勒湖邊站着；羣眾擠他、要聽上帝的道；

他們既渡過去到旱地那邊，就來到革尼撒勒靠岸。他們一從船上出來，眾人便認得是耶穌，就跑遍那全地區，將有病的人放在鋪蓋上隨帶着，聽見他在甚麼地方就到甚麼地方去。凡耶穌所進的村莊、或城市、或鄉下，他們都把患病的人放在市場上，求耶穌容他們摸他，雖即只摸得着他的衣裳繸子；凡摸着他的人、都得了救治。

這樣，那羣人見耶穌不在那裏，門徒也不在了，他們就自己上了那些小船，往迦伯農去找耶穌。既在海那邊找着了他，就對他說：『老師，你幾時到這裏來的？』
